Last year was an incredible learning experience. I began my self-publishing journey in March of 2023 and published my first novel, Sirens, in October of the same year. While the process had its ups, downs, mistakes, and successes, I wouldn’t trade the entire experience for the world.
And I think I caught the bug because I am gearing up to do it again.
Since I began writing in my free time back in 2020 during lockdown, I have completed and archived several first drafts. I started with what eventually became my debut novel—a fast-paced sci-fi book that explored AI, obsession, the dangers of technology, and societal views on sex.
My next novel will be a version of the second book I ever finished writing. This next book is a thriller that touches on domestic dynamics, American wealth, and gender expectations—so it’s a very different contemporary story than Sirens!
I am eager to begin the publishing journey again and excited to share this new story with you so… Stay tuned!
