Today’s the day Sirens is a published piece of work. When I started writing this book at the beginning of lockdown in 2020, I had no clear goals for it. At the time, it was something to do, but it soon unlocked a passion in me for storytelling that I had stored away for most of my young adult life.

Three years have passed since the first draft of Sirens was completed. Even while I have lost myself in new stories and worlds, this one has been consistent. I have visited this book frequently for tweaks and edits, and eventually got it to a place where I thought it may be interesting to someone besides myself.
Sirens consumed this year after I decided to self-publish in March. This book has been my labor of love for so long. As of today, she’s not just mine anymore.
I’m so grateful for my family and friends who have supported me through this entire journey. They’ve watched my hiccups and self-doubts without wavering in their belief in me. I will always be appreciative of them and of how this process has helped me learn and grow.
I suppose at this point I don’t have much more to say. Sirens can speak for herself now.
I hope you enjoy Sirens.
